So I gotta say trying to write this that this is not *my* type of food, can you say heartburn! LOL, I was very glad for my doterra DigestZen oil blend. But boy was it tasty! Totally teenager and/or party food! Great for New Year’s Eve or Superbowl! I’m sure my younger brother would LOVE these, bacon and cheese makes everything delish. These are quick, easy and so simple! I linked to my crescent roll recipe, which is what I used, granted the recipe makes more dough then you would need, but who doesn’t like some extra crescent rolls? But you can also totally use a can of refrigerator crescent rolls to make this super quick and simple.
Cheesy Crescent Bacon Dogs
8 (or dough for 8) uncooked Crescent Rolls, unrolled
8 Hot Dogs (I found hot dog size “little” smokies, those would be amazing!)
4 slices Cheese, cut in half
8 slices Cooked Bacon
Preheat oven to 375.
First cut the hot dogs length wise about half to 3/4 of the way through (not all the way!). Place half of a cheese slice in slit in hot dogs. Wrap each cheese filled hot dog with a slice of bacon. Place a hot dog at the wide end of the crescent roll and roll down to the point. Place on baking sheet. When all 8 are wrapped bake at 375 for 12-15 minutes.
